Barbara J. (Callari) Forsythe ~ February 7, 2021

Cuylerville, NY:  At age 82, Barb passed away unexpectedly, with peace and grace, surrounded by her beloved children at Strong Memorial Hospital on Sunday, February 7, 2021.

Barbara was born in 1938 in Rochester, NY to the late Michael and Helen (McMaster) Callari.  She graduated from West High School in 1956.

Barb served as Deputy Town Clerk of Livonia for many years. In her retirement she enjoyed Sudoku, reading, cooking and gardening.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Richard L. Forsythe; her four children, Sharon (Bernie) Hinkson, Donna Forsythe, Jim Forsythe, and Jennifer Forsythe; two grandsons, Zachary (Jordana) Hinkson, and Justin Mundell; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Carm) Callari, and Joseph Callari; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

No prior calling.

A private family service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home in Livonia, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Humane Society of Livingston County, 5 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414.

    a nice lady and a friend to all. I remember taking Katy to your house

  5. I am so sorry to hear of Barb’s passing. She was so sweet, gentle and kind. She was deputy with Vernice before me. She and Vernice helped me transition to the position and were so supportive. I knew I could always count on either one of them to help me with questions. I am so sorry for your loss.

  8. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. She was a dear friend and associate.
    She was my deputy town clerk for 16 years. We had a lot of good times and
    still got a lot of work done. I only saw her a few times a year, but I will miss her.
    She was a good friend and a good Mother. So sorry for her family. She was so proud of all of you.
