Raymond S. Simzer Sr. – July 17, 2020

Conesus:  July 17, 2020 at age 58.  Ray was born on December 23, 1961 in Clarkson, NY to the late Stanley and Lois (Yorkey) Simzer.  Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Stanley “Lee” Simzer.  Survived by his wife Barbara (Bogner) Simzer and sons; Raymond Jr. (Jennifer) Simzer and Adam (Carly) Simzer; grandchildren; Raymond, Darryl, Haile, Lucy, Evan, and Ally; siblings, Mark Simzer, Keith Simzer, and Paul (Carla) Simzer.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ray was born in Clarkson, NY and lived in Rochester, NY in his younger years.  He moved to Conesus, NY in the late 1980’s where he has lived ever since.  Ray loved four wheelers, horses, dogs, fishing, and being outdoors.  He was a machinist for many years working for Kurtz and Zobel and later for FTT.  He will be missed for his sense of humor and sarcasm.

At Ray’s request no formal funeral services will be held.  The family will have a gathering in the future to celebrate his life.  In Ray’s memory memorial contributions may be made to SusieQ Dog ResQ, PO Box 236, Conesus, NY 14435.   2. Rip my good freind. It was an honer to work beside you. To rays family all thoughts and prayers. Ray especially loved to praise and brag of his grandchildren. He will be missed greatly.

  4. Raymond, I am so sorry about your Dad. He’s so young! My mom’s family lived in Clarkson for years- the O’Briens on the Ridge. I didn’t realize he had, too. Please send my condolences to your family.
