Jeff and Bryan, sorry for your loss. You and your families are in my prayers!
Every Christmas, Thanksgiving, and birthday you were there. Some of my earliest memories have you in them. You were a friend and I will miss you dearly. I can hear you in my head. “Heeeeey Kate!” I love you forever Ed <3
Ed an I were friends 1st for many years and colleagues over the last few years. He was truly a gentleman. A man of integrity, kindness and loyalty. I have been sharing with many of our tenants the fact that Ed has left us. After condolences, the 1st words out of everyone’s mouth is, “Ed was was such a nice man”. He was tough as nails even when he was in severe pain, but when it came to his family, especially his grandchildren, he was mush. He would always share with me, the gifts he bought for the grand kids birthdays and Christmas. He was extremely proud of his boys. We collectively couldn’t get him to slow down. Sitting down and relaxing was not one of his strong suits. He felt value when accomplishing and never wanted to let anyone down. I know Bryan, Jeff and I would push him to relax more but “Mr Hard-head” would have no part of it. He will truly be missed. He knew the lord and is with him now. God bless my friend!
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I went to Cardinal Mooney with him and also I was at Fort Dix doing my basic training and I ran into him while going to the mess hall. He made my basic training so much easier with someone to talk to. I’ll never forget what he told me. If you see me on the base I’m Drill Sgt,Sir, if we are at my barracks I’m Ed. I will keep his family in my prayers
