Earl R. Rusert “Buddy” ~ June 30, 2020

Honeoye: At age 43, Buddy passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his home in Honeoye. Buddy was born in Aurora, CO. Survived by his beloved mother; Arlene Rusert, his grandmother; Marian Pickard, and his aunts; Kathleen Porter, Marlene (Kenneth) Guy, Marianne (Patrick) Barnes, and Deborah (Duane) Barnes, along with several cousins.
A private memorial service will take place at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home on Friday, July 10, 2020. To share a memory or a condolence, please visit: www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com.
New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the guidelines including those related to social distancing and face coverings.

  4. Earl I’m going to miss you. Kmart was the best when you was there. No matter what you always could make me laugh. My heart goes out to mom and the rest of your family you will forever be in my heart.

  5. Oh, Buddy. I will never, ever, EVER forget our crazy late night drives, and especially some of the stunts we did with cars. When you showed up at my house with a turkey stuck in your grille, I knew you had an eccentric sense of humor.

    THANK YOU for introducing me to the game of pool, especially teaching me how to play 9-ball. And watching “The Hustler” with me, both the Jackie Gleason and Tom Cruise versions. You were an original.
