Lima, NY: At age 76, Lee Anne passed on March 28, 2020. She was born on March 24, 1944 in Rochester, NY to the late Robert and Agnes (Adams) Butler. Predeceased by her husband Elmer G. Suter in 2011 and her sister Patricia Smith. Survived by daughters; Kimberly (James) Riedmiller of Byron and Andrea Suter (Timothy Sauerbier) of Lima; grandchildren, Hannah, Dylan, and Connor Riedmiller; siblings, Robert (Sara) Butler of Avon and Sandra Farron of Livonia. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Lee Anne was a lifelong resident of Lima and graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. She married Elmer on April 14, 1978 and they celebrated 33 years of marriage before his passing. Lee Anne retired from Southco in Honeoye Falls. She loved spending time with family and friends and cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She was very giving and always tried to help anyone she could. She had a good sense of humor and loved making people laugh.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lima, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Lee Anne’s memory to Hearthside Cats, PO Box 282, Geneseo, NY 14454. chats we had. My wife Pat and I always enjoyed bumping into Lee Anne while out
shopping. Lee Anne was special and she will be missed.
