Gerald R. Preston “Big Jerry” ~ February 22, 2020

Geneseo/Fowlerville: At age 76, Jerry, a beloved father, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at his home in Geneseo surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Batavia, NY to the late James R. and Esther Preston. Jerry was predeceased by his brother; James Preston. Survived by his children; Wendy Preston of Mt. Morris, Tammy (Philip) Schultz of Geneseo, Holly Preston of Avon and Jerry (Michelle) Preston of Retsof, his siblings; Diane (Ronald) Mason of Perry, Jack Preston (Pat Corcimiglia), along with 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Big Jerry was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, friend and dog lover with an outgoing personality who was always smiling.  He loved to laugh, was easy to talk to and he was always willing to help someone in need.  Jerry was a hard worker, but he liked to have fun too, he loved to play pool and enjoyed a refreshing Diet Pepsi at the bar.  Big Jerry will be greatly missed by all.

Friends and family are invited to call on Thursday, February 27,  2020 from 3PM to 6PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, where his memorial service will take place at 6PM.  Memorial Contributions may be made to: Livingston County Dog Control, 3386 Gypsy Lane, Mt.
