Conesus: At age 35, Emily passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 28, 2019 in Geneseo. She was born in Canandaigua, NY to Kathleen Gelatt and the late Gary Fulford. Emily is survived by her children; Austin Pape, Sayla Pape, Juniper Cowan, her stepfather; Carl Gelatt, her sisters; Michele (Lucien) Barber-Perry, Gwendolyn Moore, Elizabeth (Jason) Keeler along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Emily put her trust in Jesus as her Savior at a young age. Emily grew up in Naples, NY and Mansfield, PA where she was homeschooled. After schooling she joined the United States Navy and later obtained a nursing license through Pennsylvania College of Technology. She loved her family and cherished every moment with her children. She found peace being in nature, loved photography, art, dancing, singing, and music.
Family and Friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 1-2PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, where her memorial service will immediately follow at 2PM. Dearest Emily, we said good bye to you today. It was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do. We will never stop missing you. So many people came to say good bye and be there for the family. You were so loved by so many people.
