  1. It was with much sadness I opened the paper and saw Donna’s obit. I grew up down the street from all of you on North Avenue. I lost my mom to lung cancer too. I am so very sorry. My condolences to all of you….Susan Robeson Blanchard

  2. To Emine and Ayse my sympathies and I hope that the wonderful memories you have of time spent with your Mom will bring you comfort in the days to come. Blessings to you and your entire family. Linda Flood, your old Business Teacher

  3. Danny,

My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the loss of your beloved. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

  4. Trading places with an angel.

My sweet sweet cousin is now celebrating being at peace and cancer free with her dad and grandma! (Probably listening to them argue and yell each other.). She is where she needs to be. No more worrying or suffering…just peace.

I will cherish her constant and all consuming positivity and sweetness. She never had a bad thing to say about anybody or anything….even after this horrible disease captured her body….it never captured her soul. She held her head up high and kept a smile of hope of her face until she took her last peaceful breath.

We are all better people for knowing her and watching her fight this the way that she did. Love you all!!

  5. Our condolences to Donna’s family. We are so saddened at your loss. Will keep you all in our prayers.

  6. You will be forever missed and always in my heart. You made me a better person just by knowing you. You will always be my hero for the courageous fight that you fought every single day.

  7. My heart aches for Donna’s family. Having lost my own mother to lung cancer, I feel their pain and sorrow. Donna was truly an inspiration to us all. Her hope and courage is a true testament to her undying spirt and her zest for life.
