It takes approximately
four hours to complete one metal casket, in that time
frame, 200 sets of hands will touch that casket.
Aurora is the only manufacturing
facility where skilled metalworkers still brush caskets
by hand.

still stitch casket interiors by hand.

Caskets
Woods
are harvested from all over the United States.
Casket
sides and ends are assembled by hand by two-person
teams of experienced carpenters.

Each
casket is stained and wiped by hand to enhance the
wood's natural beauty. Skilled woodworkers also sand,
buff and polish caskets by hand for optimal eye appeal.

or "green" burial
Constructed
of natural poplar hardwood without color treatment,
manufactured according to environmentally responsible
processes.

The interior
is lined in 100% natural cotton with an all-natural
casket bed, wood hinges, and an exclusive wood locking
mechanism.

and classified as "approved" by the Green
Burial Council. The Green Burial Council has been
