Geri was the sweetest lady and friend. I had the pleasure of working for her. Her love of life , family and friends was a blessing. Seeing her at the Senior Citizen dinners at the Conesus Legion , she always had a smile for everyone she met. We will all miss her sweet smile and love for others. Kay Walkley
Geri was the sweetest lady.! It was always a blessing to see her at the Conesus Legion senior citizen dinners. I had the pleasure of working for Geri years ago. Her love of life and others spread joy and sunshine wherever she went. She will be in our hearts forever ! Kay Walkley
Over the years, Geri came to hear us sing many times. She had a favorite song called, I’m Not Giving Up, and we loved singing it for her. She had a way of greeting you like you were her best friend, her face would just light up. I suspect she had lots of “best fiends,” because she had a gift of making everyone feel special. I’ll never forget the honor of being asked to sing at her husband’s funeral. And though we didn’t get to see each other often, I’ll always treasure the gift of her friendship. She is a real example of a life well-lived. And yes, I have one of her famous lap robes!
Such a wonderful unassuming lady – so easy to please and love. Miss seeing her at Christmas…… never to be forgotten!
Aunt Geri will be greatly missed!
James and I always looked forward to her smile and spunky spirit at every reunion. We unfortunately will not able to make it to her calling hours and are quite disappointed. We will be thinking of you all!
With much love and prayers <3
Aunt Geri you will be missed! Such an inspiration for all! ????
Lillie and I really enjoyed having the opportunity to talk to “Aunt Geri” two years ago when we saw her at Gary Czerkas’ house at the lake. Our take away impression of her at 94 at that time was how full of life and positive she is. Her sense of humor and the sparkle was not diminished by age at all. Heaven is a happier place now that she has arrived.
My thoughts and prayers to your family and friends. I was extremely blessed to have known Geri. I will miss her smile, laugh and sense of humor.
Sincerely Wanda Schillinger
