  1. Dan and I were playmates and friends until adulthood led us in other directions. taught me horse-riding, we shot rats at the town dump, stayed up night and day just hanging together while our folks talked and talked and talked. holcomb was this city boy’s dream location. later on we cruised in the 57 chevy convertible, going nowhere and enjoying every minute..sorry we didn’t keep in better touch, always promised to but never did. although we kept up in social media lately. To the family, my heartfelt sympathies for your loss. I feel terribly sad for Dan, because we are really in the best part of our lives and he isn’t here.. he is a wonderful memory! I’m hoping the sun is shining, the winds are warm and he is doing everything he loved best forever…

  2. Dear Beth,
I am holding you close in my heart. I wish there were words to console you. Please know your “sister” friends will always be there when you need us.
    With much love,
    Kathy Dunn

  3. What a kind man Dan was. I’m grateful to have known him. Love to Beth and the rest of his family.

  4. I do not know where to start. I have know Danny for such a long time. I remember him picking up my brothers (Gary & Bruce) and myself with his car to go to work at Saxby’s Chicken/Fur farm everyday during Christmas & Easter break and weekends when we were in school (in the 60’s). I thought than, what a character he was. He always had something funny to say. Our friendship grew stronger over the years. We worked on many jobs, played baseball, broom ball, bowling, hunting, fishing, went on trips, together over the past 50+ years. If you can imagine we even had time for a few beers! When we got through we had a few more just in case we didn’t have enough. I will miss his great story telling and the bantering we did with each other. A truer friend you will never find. I was so blessed to have spent so much time and have the great memories that I have with Danny. He will always have a place in my heart. I love you bud!

  5. Dan was always available for assistance, his expertise, his advice. His smile was contagious and we so enjoyed his friendship. We will miss him always.

  6. My sincere condolences to the Clark family. I was glad to see Dan at our 50th class reunion. He will be missed.

  7. His smile could light up a room. He was one of the nicest people I have ever had the honor to know. I’m really sorry for your loss.

  8. He will be greatly missed. He always had a smile. He had a big heart. My prayers go to his family.

  9. To my immediate family, Conversi-Clarkfamily, spouses, cildren and extended family and friends ,and communities, we all lost an amazing and loving and supportive influence in our lives. The loss is just now making itself known with the depth still to be realized. It was too soon for any standard and too shocking to be absorbed as of yet, at least for myself. The flow of tears not slowing down, and not foreseeable in the near future. Every time I close my eyes, I see his smile and gleeming look on his face lean closer toward me with his thumb and forefinger giving that “in need of trimming and slightly grey mustache” a small swipe as his fingers tap whatever surface is in front of him and then point at me fingers stiffened, with pearls of” Daniel wisdom” flowing from his never resting mind of analytical need to improve any situation he was confronted with. Then after his lesson was complete, at least in his mind, he would settle back in his chair, or whatever, and smile with immense love and understanding. Whether I agreed or disagreed I respected that moment and reflected on it many times weather I was cooling off or agreeing without telling him so 🙂

I’m so sorry for our loss, and I wish all of us the ability to enjoy the memories and not wallow in the sadness.

Love you, each and everyone of you, we now belong to a club that none of us wanted to have been invited to or have a membership in.

  10. I cant help but think of Dan’s twinkling eyes and wide grin and his love of the outdoors and everything he did….I cant help but be horribly sad for his entire family…his sister, his brothers, Beth, but mostly his young sons and so very young grandchildren. He always looked forward to his Kentucky hunts and was always so proud of the sons and grandkids and their accomplishments….dance, hunting, baseball, fishing, whatever it was he was pleased. He has left them, all of us, WAY to soon! RIP Dan and may God bring peace to all of your family.

  15. My first job was at Stone Construction cleaning the offices. When they did away with my position Danny asked me what I wanted to do and when I said I wanted to work in the machine shop he grinned and said Okay. He gave me a chance when others said I couldn’t. After I moved away he still asked mom about me over the years. RIP Danny you will be greatly missed.

  17. Dan was one of those people who makes living in Honeoye so great. We did a lot of business together and he also helped me at home.
