Avon: Lyn passed peacefully at her home on September 26, 2018 at age 57. Predeceased by her mother Donna Hayes. She is survived by her husband of 31 years James F. Gilmore and children; Joshua Manos, Joshua Becerril, James (Kayla) Gilmore II, Crystalyn Gilmore, and Grace Gilmore; grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Baylee, Brianna, and Thomas; siblings, Thomas (Jenn) Hayes, Michael (Belinda) Hayes, Douglas (Pam) Hayes, and Lisa (Mark) Allen. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

Lyn was born on December 8, 1960 in Canton, NY. Early on Lyn attended Avon Central School and later graduated from Tustin High School in Tustin, CA. While in California Lyn worked for State Farm Insurance and later transferred to the Henrietta, NY office. She was an avid gardener, animal lover, and home decorator. She was a gift to us all.

A Celebration of Lyn’s Life will be held on Friday, October 5th, from 4-8pm at the Avon Veterans Hall, 5480 E. Avon Road, Avon, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Lyn’s Memory to the Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
