Thomas P. Brown II “Tom” – August 18, 2018

Livonia: Tom passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on August 18, 2018 at age 60. Predeceased by his parents Thomas Sr. & Charlotte (Cooke) Brown and his nephew Greg Harrison. Survived by his loving wife, of 38 years, Linda Brown and sons; Matthew (Jani) Brown of Monterey, CA and Ian (Amanda) Brown of Fort Drum, NY; siblings, Kathy (Ogden) Price of OH, Debbie (Mark) Harrison of Rochester, and Joe (Danita) Brown of SC.

Tom loved life. He loved his family, his church, and his hobbies. His passions in life included riding his motorcycle, reading spy novels and boating with friends. The next marathon was never far away, the next concert was always on the calendar, but family vacations were always a priority. Whether it was home improvements or car repair he got the greatest satisfaction from doing it himself. He was never far from scouting or the golf course. He loved all things Army and Navy equally. Tom was an amazing husband, father, sibling and friend.

  1. What an amazing celebration of Tom’s life today. I was fortunate to have worked with Tom at Bosch, and wish I had known him better and for more years. I hope his close family and friends take solace in knowing his pain is over and that he clearly left this earth a better place than he found it.

  2. He was such a strong and amazing man. It was a privilege to have known him! His love for the lord taught me much more grace, humility, and praise. The strong bond and love between Linda an him is a dream very couple should have!! It was a blessing for me to have known him! The pride he had of Matt and Ian radiated each time you were mentioned! We have lost one of God’s best creations. God bless you!
