Lima: Passed peacefully at home on July 10, 2018 at age 92 years, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Frank Burtsell, grandson Terry Winner, and granddaughter Keri Hilton. Survived by children; Michael Murphy of Avon, Kathleen Hellems of Honeoye Falls, Cynthia Winner of Rochester, Lori Hilton of Rochester, Stephen (Jennifer) Murphy of Naples, Frank (Heather) Burtsell of Henrietta and Kathy Burtsell of Brighton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Hoffman and Bobbie LaDue & many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was born on December 20, 1925 in Brockport, NY to parents Peter and Alda (New) DeFelice. She worked at Bausch & Lomb in Rochester, NY for many years. Dot loved to cook and spend time with family especially for Saturday get-togethers. She was a long time resident of Lima, NY.
No calling hours will be held. Burial Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lima, NY will be held privately in the future. My mother was the strongest woman I could ever wish for ,she raised her family to be happy.to be loved and love, to be strong and cook.every morning at 930 I’d call her ,as I talked she listened, she never got a word in ! MISS YOU MOMMY SO MUCH.
