Henrietta/Hemlock: Janet passed peacefully on June 2, 2018 at age 68. Predeceased by her parents Robert & Ruth Mallory and her sister Susan Mallory. Survived by her brother Paul Mallory of Honeoye Falls and her nephews; Barry Bihrle of Henrietta & Robert (Dalila) McKay of CA, and her great-niece Dominique. Also survived by several other loving family members and friends.
No prior calling hours will be held. Janet’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 6th, 11am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha-Latin Mass Community at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4536 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617. I worked with Janet at Conserve. She and I were cubicle neighbors and chit-chatted often. We both knew we were leaving to move on and soon. Janet beat me out. After we left we’d talk over social media and send email back and forth. She had decided to cut down on meat. Told her that I wanted to take her to the red fern for lunch and the Abundance store on South Ave. Before I knew it, I heard that she was in hospice and then had passed. I wish Janet would have told me she was sick. Now, I’m happy she is at peace now. Janet was a good person and a good friend!
JANET was my dearest and best friend….So kind, so generous, so loving…I am missing her dearly. Thank you SO much, Janet, for letting me spend your final days here on Earth with you. nOW YOU ARE IN YOUR HEAVENLY, fOREVER HOME. May God’s angels watch over you and give you peace and joy.
Janet was my wifes (claudia o’hearn) best friend growing up in Hemlock.
It was such a terrific shock to read of her passing. My wife is in tears over the loss of her friend.
