In 1947, she married the love of her life, Don Auble , whom she met on a blind date. She was a stay-at-home Mom with their 3 children until the family moved to Conesus Lake in l964. At that time she worked in the Livonia School District as a secretary for the Superintendent and Guidance Counselor. The family enjoyed life at the lake until she and Don moved to Florida in 1980. I became better acquainted with
Jean during her time of assisted living
and Episcopal Church Home in Rochester these last few years as I visited her. Now I know why all her children are so caring and sweet. She and Don were great parents. She always had an instant smile even when I awakened her and she no longer was sure who I was, then she’d ask me to remind her. I always felt better when I visited her (last several months I’d come while my husband got chemo treatments or was in the hospital nearby).
our families were so close. we have decades of memories to help us with your passing. an awesome mother , friend, neighbor, etc.
my sister and I wish your family strength and love as you go through this difficult time
