Oh! the memories. Jim was my first boyfriend – from second grade at St. Agustine’s school when Sr. Estelle made me sit next to him for punishment for “talking” – until well after high school. We grew up together and he was one of the most important people in my life. I just loved the heck out of him! We did reconnect at the 50th Anniversary of the class of 1954 and he was as charming as ever. It was very sad to see his name in the obituaries and I send my sympathies to the family – he was a special person!
Sean,
My mom and I were so very sorry to hear about the passing of your dad. No matter how long our folks are with us, it is always too soon when they pass. May your heart be filled with fond memories and may your soul be at peace. As you mourn, know that old friends are crying with you.
Peace and love my old friend,
Lorraine Page Wichtowski
PS – Mom (Margo Page) sends big hugs and her love.
We are so sorry for you all, our hearts and prayers go out to you. Jim has been a wonderful friend and listener to me through the years. He stood by me during a rough time and believed in me. I will always be so Thankful that I could call him my friend.
I have very fond memories of Jim, starting when he and Marty operated the Country Store. Jim was an easy going, pleasant person to talk with, loaded with encouragement and good humor. I also will never forget his kind gesture of giving me a lift home every day when we were both commuting students at St. John Fisher College. In closing, I am going to miss this good man who kept me straight and honest. God speed, Jim McLaughlin.
Our sincere condolences to Jeanine and the McLaughlin family. Jim, over the
years has been a great friend and neighbor. His wisdom, never ending
willingness to help a neighbor and his wonderful sense of humor will be
greatly missed. Jim was a class act and the likes of him will not pass this
earth ever again.
Our deepest sympathy, Lorraine and Carl Dossier
