Naples: October 4, 2017 at age 59 years. Survived by his wife, Karen. Children, Phillip VanBell of Honeoye & Melissa Van Bell (Shane Heming) of Missouri. 3 sisters, Susan (Don) Strickland, Mary VanBell, and Nancy VanBell all of Rochester. He was a retired machinist from Gleason Works.

I’m so sorry to hear about Charlie. I’ve been friends with Nancy for a very long time and I remember going over to their house when we were in high school and Charlie was always funny and friendly. I’m sure you and your family will miss him dearly. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
My sincerest condolences to Karen and the rest of the family. Chuck was a great neighbor. Always willing to lend a helping hand. We swapped many stories over the years. Chuck had a very generous heart.. I will greatly miss my friend and neighbor.
