Livonia: February 2, 2017 at age 58 years. Predeceased by his parents Paul & Marcella Hanafin and his sister Fran Elliott. Survived by his wife Rose Hanafin of Livonia and children; Elizabeth Hanafin of TX, Joe Hanafin of ME, Jim (Chelsey) Hanafin of CO, and Paul Hanafin of Livonia. Also survived by siblings; Ben (Laurie) Hanafin, Jeanette (Leo) Frey, and Karl (Ellen) Hanafin. Brother-in-law Rich (Sally) Sheridan, several nieces, nephews, and cousins, including his special cousin Marcie (Mark) Waters.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18th, at 11am at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 20A, Livonia, NY. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, 4 Avon Road, Geneseo, NY 14454.
