Well, It’s been a rough week as we lost a GREAT MAN, my Ex-Father-in Law Anthony C. West (BUD). I came into their Family 43 years. I married their oldest Son (Dave) and had Gail and Bud’s First Grand Children Tiffany and David, Jr.. Bud and Gail loved them very much as they would have the Kids up in N.Y. for Summer Vacations! Both the Kids would come back to Florida and always talked about the GREAT time they had with Grandma and Grandpa. I will miss Bud & Gail forever but never forgotten and will always be in my Heart. You will be Greatly missed by all… Love you Dad!
May you R.I.P. “Bud”…
We are so sad to hear about Bud’s passing. We have many fond memories of Bud. He sponsored our Demolition Derby car for many years. He was always happy and a great friend. Our thoughts are with all of the family now. We will miss him at the Fair.
To the West family my condolences, so sorry for your loss. Bud was a friend and a great man, he will be missed, but never forgotten.
Hearing the news of Bud’s passing overwhelmed us all. Few people cared for our community more than Bud West. When we picture Bud we think of a man of consistency, character, and a man who lived life to its fullest. Hemlock mourns Bud and prays that his family is surrounded by love and the knowledge that if you ever need us….we are here. Bud you will be missed but never forgotten.
Guys so sorry to hear about your loss. He was an amazing man. Just wanted to let you know that I am sicker than a dog. So we won’t be seeing us tonight. But you are in our thoughts. Love you all
Few people we know have loved this community of ours as much as Bud did. A man of consistency and excellent character someone who was always enjoying life to its fullest. The town of Hemlock owes you a great deal Bud West. May his family be surrounded by love and prayers. Rest in peace Bud West you will be dearly missed and never forgotton.
My deepest condolences to the West family. I’m profoundly thankful for being able to call Bud my friend.Ever since joining the Hemlock fair board it was apparent to me what a tremendous person he was.He was the rudder that steered the ship through good and bad. I will miss having him come up behind me and say “what are you up to mister?”When next I stand beneath the windmill on the fairgrounds and hear it turn in the wind,I will know Bud is with me there.Till we meet again, godspeed Bud.
My sincere sympathy to the West Family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
To all my cousins’ cousins…many heartfelt condolences on your loss. Neighbor Jane just told us the news yesterday; the Hemlock Fair and 4th of July parties just won’t be the same. Bud certainly had a magnetic personality. Suddenly there feels like an empty space nearby, and two thoughts come to mind….
“I felt a great disturbance in the Force”
“Elvis has left the building”
He was loved, will be mourned, and then talked about for years and years and years.
Dave, Mike, Rick and Deb. So very sorry for your loss.
Your parents were 2nd to mine during my teen years and I loved them both. Bud will be greatly missed by many. His sense of hunor is what I remember most.

I have so many fond memories of times at the West farm when I was growing up. Bud and Gail were my second set of parents and they sure knew how to have fun. My thoughts and prayers are with you Dave, Mike, Ricky, Debbie, and your families. Your Dad will surely be missed, but remembered.
Mike, Sheri, Dave, Leanne, Genine, Jim and the rest of the West family, My heart goes out to you all! Bud was such a great guy and will be missed a lot! I really enjoyed working with him at the fair for the past 10 plus years! I’m going to miss him!
Bud will be missed by so many because of the man he was. He has taught myself and so many others such great things and therefore will leave such an empty space in the community. My heart goes out to the West family. Bud may be gone, but will never be forgotten for what he has done for the area
RIP Bud. Remembering the first car you sold me in Livonia. And kept the repairs going for me. My heart goes out to your family.

To the West Family: We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Mark and Debbie always spoke so fondly of their dad (father in law). It was obvious how much he meant to them, all of his family, friends and the community.
Another big loss to Livonia, rember him coming into the Milky Way for coffee, and also selling him auto parts, Bud did a lot for Livonia and the Hemlock fair. He will be missed. Leigh and VONDA Pope
