South Lima: George E. Collins at age 67 on Sunday, October 2, 2016 of complications from a cardiac episode. George was predeceased by his parents George and Gertrude Royce Collins, wife, Connie, and brother, Jerry (Mouse) Collins. George is survived by his son, Richard Collins and daughter Linda Collins both of San Diego, California; brothers Bruce Collins, of Texas, Royce (Debbie) Collins of Rochester; and sister in law Regina Collins. Additionally, George leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews: Brandi Collins (Dan Zenner), her son, Cliff Struble (Autumn Johnson) and daughter Daisy.

George was born in Canandaigua on December 16, 1947, one of four Collins’ boys: Jerry, Bruce, George, and Royce.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Conesus Lake Sportsman’s Club, 5883 Stone Hill Road, Lakeville, NY on Thursday, October 6th from 4-6pm.   1. I had the pleasure of getting to know George when he worked for my Uncle Myron for many years. George was hardworking and a very kind-hearted man. My hope for George is that he rests in peace and is reunited with his family members. God bless you George!

  3. My sincere condolences to George’s family. He worked with my father and uncle for many years and will always be remembered as a hard worker and great guy. He is now with those he has loved and lost.

  4. My condolences to you and your family. I remembered working with your Uncle George in lakeville along time ago. He was a great man. He will be sorely missed by many. Go fly with the other Angel’s in heaven. Here’s a little poem. It’s called fly high God’s Angel. Now that you’re free from all the pain. I’m calling you home. George your flying high above the clouds the rainbow and the star’s. Walk with God and he’ll guide you now and forever in heaven. Sorry I couldn’t make it. Love you.
