Bloomfield: Wilbur J. Wilson Jr. died on September 23, 2016, at age 74 years, at the Elm Manor Nursing Home in Canandaigua, NY.

Predeceased by his wife Lois A. Wilson in 2013. Survived by three daughters; Vickie (Richard) Patterson of Naples, Pamela Deck of FL, and Elaine (Randy) Moses of Bloomfield; friend, Elmer Provorse Jr.; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Wilber was born on January 13, 1942 in Rochester, NY to parents Wilber J. Wilson Sr. and Hazel (Yule) Wilson. He was a carpenter for many years with the Empire State Carpenters Union, loved to fish and be outdoors, and always enjoyed telling a good joke.

A graveside service will be held at the Richmond Center Cemetery, Honeoye, NY at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elm Manor Nursing Home, Patient Activity Fund, 210 North Main Street, Canandaigua, NY 14424 or to the family.   1. Im so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers to your Family. Wilbur was one of a kind, Always Willing to help all. I learned alot being around Wilbur and my family Loved Wilbur like a brother, like a Father, and a dear friend. Anyone would be proud to have known him. Wilbur gave me the best years of my Life and for that I thank him, He was always there for me and my family. Wilbur will be missed by many. Wilbur is at peace and with his Wife Lois now, Rest in Peace to you Both. Wilbur will never be forgotten, You are my BFF always Wilbur RIP Buddy Always in my heart xoxo

  3. So sorry girls! Not sure if you remember or knew about your dad cutting round boards out of formica counter tops and using them to water ski on at Duck Lake. Glen and your dad was camping very often when young with their moms, a few weeks at a time or more. He had a flock of about 40 sheep to tend between about age 8/9 into early teen years. He showed them a few times and sheared them for the wool.

  5. To the family: You all have been a part of my life for many years. I am thankful that I got to see both Lois and Jim in 2008. I send you love, peace, and thank you all for allowing me to have the love of your parents. They are resting in peace now. Together.
