  2. My Prayers go out to you Carole and your Family during this time of Mark going to be with the Lord. I so enjoyed getting together when our children were little and enjoying our conversations of life. Remembering the little turtles in your home in a small children’s swimming pool was so exciting for my children to see. Your Kind & Loving Heart has always been the Rock of Friendship that I was Blessed to share in our path in life together. In the name of the Father, I pray for Strength & Guidance during this time in your life. God Bless Your Family! With Much Love, Cindy

  3. I too grew up in Lima with Mark. I would occasionally see him in West Shurfine since we both live in Livonia. Very sorry .

  5. I am so sad to hear about Mark’s passing. I grew up with Mark. My brother Tom and Mark were great friends. We lived on College Street and could cut through the neighbors yards to get to Mark’s house. Prayers and thoughts to all of Marks’ family and friends. RIP Mark.

  6. Mark and I grew up together in Lima. We were friends from kindergarten right through high school. We were part of a group of 7 -8 guys that all lived and played in the Elm Street / College Street area in Lima. Mark’s maternal grandparents lived on Elm Street right around the corner from the one and only school in Lima at the time so we would often go to their house for lunch on school days. Their back yard was also the designated football field when we would all get together after school. Later on we would cruise around Conesus Lake with 2 or 3 others, taking turns who would drive each week, ending up at the amusement park at Long Point Park. Other weekend nights we would go down to Brongo Bowl in Honeoye Falls then come back to Jim Johnson’s house to play the board game RISK. Some nights we would play to 12:30 – 1:00 in the morning.

I only saw Mark a few times after graduation and not recently for a few years. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing today and hope that his adult life was as enjoyable as our growing up years were.

    Rest In Peace my friend,

    Rick Bennett
