West Bloomfield: April 21, 2016 at home, surrounded by family, at age 78 years. Predeceased by his parents Willard & Gladys (Proper) Champlin and his sisters; Clara Ernst, Leah Champlin, and Shirley Smith. Survived by his lifelong companion of 41 years, Kathleen Simmons and children; Ralph (Cheryl) Champlin, Cynthia Champlin (Bill Eller), Sandra Champlin (David Chrysler), Mattie (Brad) Stedge, Jennifer Champlin (Timothy Conrad), and Kerry Champlin (Travis Ingerick.) Grandchildren; Robert, Sarah, David, Larz, Melody, and Willow. Also survived by his brothers; Willard (Louella) Champlin and John (Linda) Champlin, several nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends may call on Wednesday, April 27th, from 12noon-2pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Honeoye, where services will immediately follow calling at 2pm. Burial will follow at Allens Hill Cemetery, Honeoye, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ontario County Humane Society, 2976 County Road 48, Canandaigua, NY 14424.   2. A man who was never wealthy,had so many riches. Your legacy to the world was that when you met this man you always walked away with a smile.his sense of humor was what helped us through the toughest of times. He was from a time of hard workers and always took care of his family.
