Lakeville: February 4, 2016 at age 96 years. Predeceased by his wife Rosalie in 2010. Survived by his son Charles A. Leary, III, “Chuck” of Rochester. Sisters, Joan Push of Wilmington, NC, and Marjorie Leary of Queens, NY. Nieces and Nephews. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.

He was born in Queens, NY, June 2, 1919 the son of Charles A. Leary Sr. and May Stritch Leary. A Navy veteran, he belonged to the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Charles was a member of St. Matthews Church and was a longtime sheet metal mechanic employed in Rochester, lastly, with Ontario Metal Supply.

  1. We loved Charlie and Rose. Both were active and dedicated members of the Livonia VFW Post 9028 and its Auxiliary. Two of the nicest people you would ever know.
