To Kathy: I was saddened to learn of your Dads passing. He was a kind and considerate man. I had many encounters with him at the store and a few in the ambulance. My condolences to Jim’s family and friends on this Memorial Day. He was a very fine soldier, and an even better person. May you find peace in knowing the profound effect he had on all who knew him.
I served many years with Jim…we had some good times & some not good times…like the prison guard strike in 1979. Jim was a great guy & will be missed…RIP my good friend.
I served many years with SGM Greeley and am saddened by his departure, a loss to his family, to all. May he rest in peace.
SGM Greeley was a big help to me and mentored me when I held position of Ops Sgt in 209th BN.
I served 10 years with Jim in the National Guard and cherish the memories of him. Later on worked with him while he was in the Fire and EMS service. He was a good friend, a great soldier, and an all around fantastic person. We will miss Jim and his wit. So long Jim. Godspeed on your final trip. Hooah!
