Livonia: On November 18, 2014, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and close friends. Predeceased by her husband Joseph Yantachka Jr., her parents, Dolores and Gerard Weinhart and her sister Patricia DePerna. Linda is survived by daughter Lisa (Patrick “PJ”) McMahon, son Joseph III (Sarah) Yantachka, and daughter Cyndi (Fred) Moolekamp. Grandchildren Aubree and Keslee Yantachka and Sophia Moolekamp, brother Thomas Weinhart and sister Barbara (Weinhart) Terry. Remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and close friends, especially Joe and Leah Murphy and the Burgett family.

Linda devoted her entire life to making her children and grandchildren’s lives more fun on every holiday and every day in between. Her energy was poured into building the Partyman Catering with her son and family. No one could keep up with her pace and the world will never be as clean, well fed or organized in her absence especially at Camp Stella Maris.

The family will receive guests on Friday, November 21st, from 4-7 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. 21 Big Tree Street, Rtes 15 & 20A Livonia. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, at 10:30am at St Matthew Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Rd, Route 20A, Livonia. Interment immediately following mass, Oak Ridge Cemetery, South Livonia. A reception will be held in the Susan Dougherty Community Room.   1. Linda was such a wonderful, kind woman. We always enjoyed being with her and were so happy to be a part of her family. A person’s life is appropriately measured by the children they leave behind. Linda has such beautiful children. They are still her, with Linda’s blood flowing in their veins. We believe that it was just time for Linda to take a walk with Taco Joe in the woods. Our love to you Linda and your family.

  2. Indeed, the world will not be the same. She taught so many of us how to live and how to love. She will be missed dearly but she lives on in our hearts & her everlasting love will always be felt.
