Livonia: September 5, 2014 at home at age 78. Predeceased by siblings; Carmello Muscato, Anne Genduso-Fox, Sarah LaDelfa, Thomas Muscato, Anthony Muscato, Mary D’Angelo, Samuel Muscato, and son-in-law Dale DuRoss. Survived by his wife of 48 years Patricia Muscato of Livonia. Children; Steven (Aimee, daughter Alyssa & granddaughter Autumn) Muscato of Livonia and Christine DuRoss of Henrietta. Grandson Brian John Muscato. Brother Frank Muscato of Mt. Morris, sister Louise Muscato of Ontario, brother-in-law Sterling (Elsie) Fox of Naples, and sister-in-law Sally Muscato of Hemlock. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
John was born on October 22, 1935 in Livonia Center, NY to parents Joseph & Jennie (Guarino) Muscato. He was employed by the 3M Company as a quality control supervisor for many years. He was a member at St. Matthew Catholic Church, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Friends may call on Sunday from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia. John’s Funeral Mass will be on Monday at 10:30am at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Livonia. Burial St. Michael’s Cemetery, Livonia.
