  1. To the Smith Family. Your in our hearts and prayers. Had many good times with Russell in the fall. He showed how dedicated he was to his family and friends. May god bless you and give peace in this time. Brad Jenna Kate and Owen Austin.

  2. Dear Great Aunt Gladys and family,

You are in our hearts and prayers – Many great times to be remembered for me as a child growing up. The excitement of hearing Russel was back from a trip south with a truckfull of watermelons. Back in the day,a trip from South Livonia to South Lima was a real treat. Getting to see/meet family at the big re-unions at Alex and Jess Backus was amazing. I didn’t realize how big a family could get. I miss those days and all of you. Our Love and deepest sympathy, The clan of Greg Backus.

  3. We are so sorry to hear about Russell. So many great memories of Russell and my dad (John Mack). The “Barn Sales”, antiques, selling fruit, the Florida trip. They will always be good pals! Dad and Russell will be great partners in heaven. My deepest sympathies to Gladys and all of his family.

  4. Aunt Gladys and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Russell. I’m sure Dad, Grandma and Grandpa Smith along with the rest of the brothers and sisters will have some great card games now and top if off with a big bowl of ice cream afterwards. What great memories!
