  1. Steve and family – We were saddened to hear your mom passed away. Your family was a big part of my childhood, and we both have many fond memories of your mom. Her positive outlook on life was infectious, and she had a big impact on my life. Whenever I make some of her recipes, see a sailboat out on the water, or see pansies, we think of her. Even to this day, when I go home I expect to see your mom at the kitchen window or coming out the kitchen door to warmly greet us. She was a remarkable woman, Steve, and we want to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family. May you all feel God’s loving arms surround you in the weeks and months ahead.
