James Anthony Dann of California: Passed unexpectedly in Ohio, August 2, 2013, age 59, of cardiac failure, while employed by Werner Enterprises Coast to Coast trucking. Predeceased by his parents, George M and Jean M Dann and brother, Michael Dann. Survived by brothers G. Thomas (Carol), Livonia, NY; Patrick J (Rita), Whitesboro, NY; Richard F Dann, California, sisters, Catherine M. (Larry) Dietzen Saugus ,California and Mary E. (James) Joseph Laguna Nigel, California, uncle and aunt, Jack and Vickie Smith, Baldwinsville NY, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School Rochester NY. Jim’s love of sports inspired him to participate in years of high school basketball as a referee.
A memorial service and interment will be held at Union Cemetery, Big Tree Street, Livonia NY, Saturday, August 31, at 11:00 AM with reception following at the Masonic Hall, corner of Big Tree and Commercial Streets Livonia. I am sorry to hear about the passing of your brother Jim. 59 is way too young. It is always a shock when something happens like this. Hopefully you can focus on only good memories of him.
I was thinking about Ravenwood and OLGC just a couple of weeks ago and wondered where you were these days. I see you are now living in CA.
