Livonia: July 27, 2009 at age 64 years. Predeceased by parents Ted & Dorothy Connor and brother Ted Connor. Survived by wife Jackie Connor and children; Tammy (Mike) Ryan of Livonia and Mark (Elise) Connor of Conesus. Five Grandchildren; Steven Debattista, Tommy & Paige Ryan, Lauren & Matthew Connor. Brothers; John (Sandy) Connor and Joe (Emma) Connor. Sister Joyce Leadley. Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and many friends.

Dave was a life member of the Livonia Fire Department and involved in many organizations in the Livonia community. He was a member of the American Legion and Veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War. Also a past president and founder of the Livonia Athletic Booster Club. Dave was instrumental in bringing Vince Lombardi football to Livonia and served on the Regional Board. In his career Dave worked for the Town of Livonia Highway Department, Boces, and The Livonia School District. He was a Past Town Councilman and also was founder of the Derby Dogs. He was known as a bargain hunter and collector of free items.

Family and Friends may call 1-4pm and 6-9pm on Thursday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., Rte 15 &20a, 21 Big Tree St., Livonia. A celebration of life will be held on Friday morning at 10:30am at St. Matthews Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Rd., Livonia. Rev. Dan Finch will be officiating services.
