William I. VanZandt, 87 years, of Cleary Road, Livonia died Tuesday July 7, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, where he had been a patient since July 3. Bill was born in the family home on VanZandt Road in Livonia, June 6, 1922, the son of William and Jennie DeGraff VanZandt. He was a life long farmer who belonged to many agricultural groups along with the former Conesus Milk COOP. He was predeceased by his wife Mildred Brisbane VanZandt in 1994 and his son Frank VanZandt in 2004.

Bill is survived by his loving companion, Merlene Turnquist of FL; his daughter-in-law, Barbara VanZandt of Livonia; his grandson, William H. VanZandt of Livonia. his grandchildren, Wyatt, Clayton, and Rider VanZandt. Also, many dear friends.
