Bloomfield: James O. Chard, 71 years, of Taft Road, Bloomfield, NY died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at FF Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. He was born in Hudson Falls, NY, February 2, 1941 the son of William and Beatrice Esmond Chard. He and his wife, the former Mary Anna Harloff celebrated 50 years of marriage on July 29, 2011. He owned and operated the Jim Chard Home Improvement Co.

Besides his wife, Mary Anna, he is survived by his children, Syble (Ed) Rath-Wright of Bloomfield, and Chris (Erin) Chard of Shortsville.9 grandchildren, Andrew, Allyson, Ted, Loren, Sarah, Lindsay, Taylor, Jacob, and Cooper. 2 great grandchildren, Austin and Ashton. sister, Jane (Bob) Patton of Hudson Falls, NY.
