Nunda/Lakeville – Louis E. Waden, 86 years of Creek Road, Nunda NY formerly of Lakeville, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. He was born in Conesus, NY February 2, 1926 the son of Charles and Florence VanBusKirk Waden. He attended Livonia schools and was a former member of the Livonia Fire Dept. He also was active the Livonia Little League in earlier years. Louis was retired from Bausch and Lomb in Rochester. He was predeceased by his wife Betty and his siblings, Raymond and Donald Waden, Marion Stewart and Mildred Farrell.

He is survived by his wife Janice; children, Roger (LauraLee) Waden of Dansville and James (Patricia) Waden of Livonia; his step children, Shirley Fagan, Thomas (Evva) McTarnaghan, JoAnn (Kenny) Jischke, Gary (Chery) McTarnaghan, and Tina Roth (James Collier) all of Nunda. 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great grandaughter, 12 step grandchildren & 10 step great grandchildren. his sister, Esther Sharpe of Conesus. several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Sunday 4 -7 PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM with Rev.
