Livonia: Larry C. “Woody” Stewart, 67 years, died June 19, 2009 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born in Livonia April 24, 1942 the son of James and Marion Waden Stewart. Woody served in the US Air Force from 1961 to 1965. He was employed by the Town of Livonia in the highway department for 28 years, the last 14 being the elected Highway Superintendent. He was a lifetime member of the Livonia Fire Department and a member of the Lakeville Fire Department. Woody was also a longtime member of the Livingston County Highway Superintendents Association.

Survived by his wife Dorothy; children, Debbie (Tom) Jerris of Livonia; Larry Stewart 11 of Conesus. Sisters, Arlene Nowack of Livonia, Carol Gouthro of Woburn, Mass., Diane Stewart of Livonia and Donna (Gene) Morsch of Perkinsville. Brother, James (Barbara) Stewart of Conesus. Aunts and uncle, Louie and Janice Waden of Nunda, and Esther Sharpe of Conesus, and nieces and nephews.
