Elmer G. Suter, 66 years, of Lima, NY died Monday, July 4, 2011 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, He was born October 29, 1944, in Rochester,NY, the son of James D. and Olive Canaway Suter.Prior to retirement he was employed by Gannett Rochester Newspapers and Cricts Restaurant in Honeoye Falls. He was a US Army veteran serving his country from 1967 through 1969. On April 14, 1978, he married the former LeeAnne Butler, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (James) Riedmiller of Stafford, NY and Andrea Suter (Richard French) of Conesus, NY. his granddaughter Hannah. sister, Marilyn Pollard (Robert Andrews) of Oregon. sisiter-in-law, Sandy Farron of South Lima, NY and brother-in-law, Robert (Sara) Butler of Avon, NY. also brother-in-law, Russell Smith of Honeoye,NY. several nieces and nephews.
