Honeoye: Vincent A. Rowley of Brookview Drive in Honeoye, NY died March 27, 2009, after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family in Tampa, Florida., where he resided during the winter months. Vin was a lifelong Honeoye resident, served in the US Marine Corps during World War 2, was an investigator with the Ontario County Sheriffs Department, and then retired as Town of Richmond Highway Superintendent. He was Past Commander of of the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post, life member of the Richmond Fire Department, and Past Master of the Masonic Lodge #619. Vin was predeceased by his parents, Philip and Irene Rowley; brother, Philip; sisters, Ethel Rowley and Margaret Peck.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Pearl Grouse Rowley; daughters, Beverly (Wayne) Roberts, of West Bloomfield, Bonnie Rowley of St. Petersburg, FL; sons, Stephen Rowley (Gale Onderdonk) of Honeoye, Vincent C. (Patricia) Rowley of St. Petersburg, FL,; grandchildren, Matthew Roberts, Victoria Roberts (Ezra), Sarah Rowley, Vincent Brent Rowley, Andrea (Nathan) Miller, Spencer Rowley, Chad Rowley, and Justin Rowley; great grandchildren, Max and Grace Miller; many loving nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend services 2 PM, Saturday May 2,2009 at the Honeoye United Church of Christ, Route 20A Honeoye. Private burial, Lakeview Cemetery.
