Lima: Margaret L. Backus, 88 years, of Lake Ave. Lima, NY died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia. She was born July 29, 1922 the the daughter of Harold and Lettie Brisbane Brown. For many years, she was a bus driver employed by the Gates Chili School District. Prior to that, she was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. She was an avid camper, and for many years maintained a residence in Lodi, NY (Seneca Lake). She was predeceased by her husband Jackson Backus in 1989.

Marge is survived by her daughters, Melanie (Chris) Wilcox of Lima; Joylee Weime of Albion. son, George Johnstone. grandchildren and great grand children. Brothers, Fred Brown and Russell (Janet) Brown of Avon. Several nieces & nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday 1-3 PM at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia, where services will follow the visitation at 3 PM with the Rev.
