  1. I had the pleasure to meet Woody through our children who graduated from the Honeoye Falls-Lima High School. I also saw him many times at the Lima Post Office where I worked. A great man. He will be missed by thousands.

  5. So very sorry to hear of Woody’s passing. He was one the very best hires of my career. His impact on students and staff at HFL High School was a wonderful thing. I still remember how he brought “the house down” when he was awarded his high school diploma at a school assembly in the gym. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place! He may be gone, but he will forever be immortalized in the memories of all he touched. Rest in peace my friend.

  6. Shirley, Debbie, Donna, I am so sorry to hear of Woody’s passing. I always had the utmost respect for him, he was a great man. I have so many fond memories of Woody around the Eagles Club, too many to mention. Unfortunately, we lost touch through the years, but I will always remember him as true friend. I know Woody will be truly missed by his entire family. Woody, may you rest in eternal peace.

  7. Woody was a legend in the HFL school district. He worked at HFL when I was a student in the early 2000’s. He often came back to visit after he retired and always found time to bust everyone’s chops any chance he got. Every student and every employee at HFL LOVED Woody! He willl be missed deeply.

  8. Woody and I enjoyed a few years together in a school bus. I was the driver and he was the monitor. He was so kind to the special needs children. They all loved him. Lots of fond memories. Rest in peace, woody.
