Cindy is a much missed member of the Overture community. She did so much for others and I feel fortunate that I got to know her.
Sending my deepest sympathies to her family. May you find comfort in your memories.
We are already missing Cindy and every day that we walk in the commons area of Overture of Chapel Hill we miss her presence , her smile, her shiny eyes and her kind words . Indeed, she was kind to all and always willing to help anyone in need . She was always surrounded by many close and sincere friends whom she attracted with her impecable magnetism and positive aura. May God speed her to Heaven!
My first meeting with Cindy was at Overture of Chapel Hill. Cindy was sitting at a table in the Kitchen/activity area by herself knitting a winter cap. In her time here, Cindy was quiet but active in her Craft Group, Knitting/Crochet Group, and Card Groups. Cindy also quietly assisted other residents in their health care needs by organizing their transportation to appointments and insuring they were able to eat healthy foods. Cindy was a loving member of our community. She will be missed.
I am glad I have a blanket, hat and scarf to remember Cindy.
I loved seeing her when she visited Donna. She was a sweet lady.
I met Cindy when I moved to Overture. She was one of the first people who greeted me and invited me to sit with her at the social hour. She always had the biggest smile on her face and had a welcoming attitude. She was a caregiver and shared her talents with everyone. I was always amazed at how many games she knew and how she kept all the rules straight. She loved to help people and never expected anything in return. When a job was to be done, she would be the first to volunteer.
I know we will all miss Cindy and may she rest in the peace she deserves.
