Sarah (Sally) Muscato – April 21, 2024

Hemlock – Sarah (Sally) Muscato, age 92, died peacefully at home on April 21, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She grew up on a farm in Livonia Center and met and married the love of her life, Anthony Muscato in 1952. Sally is predeceased by her beloved husband and her sister Mary Downey Muscato.  She is survived by her three children; Patty Muscato and Michael Muscato, both of Hemlock, and Sally Collins of Livonia; three grandchildren, Jennie Spencer, Mark (Marcy) Collins, and Sara (Brenden) Schlinger, and eight great-grandchildren, Joshie DeLucia, Joe Delucia, Noah Spencer, Mckenna Collins, Mattie Collins, Anthony Collins, Jeremiah Schlinger, Hailey Schlinger. She is also survived by her sisters Katie Stewart and Elsie Patterson, brother and sister-in-law Dan and Margaret Downey, and sister-in-law Patricia Muscato, along with many nieces and nephews.

Sally was a member of St. Matthew Church for many years. She enjoyed mowing her lawn and working in her flower gardens, watching the NY Yankees, and traveling for many years with her friends to country music shows. Mostly though, she was a devoted mother and grandmother/great-grandmother. What brought her the most enjoyment in life, was spending time with her family.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday, April 30th  from 10-11 AM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Livonia with a Funeral Mass immediately following calling hours. Burial St. Michael’s Cemetery, Livonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Livonia Ambulance, PO Box 8, Livonia NY 14487, and/or Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510.   1. Condolences to the family. Will always remember Tony and Sally at church in Livonia Center and Dad stopping at the house in Hemlock when we were kids.

  2. Dear Patty, Sally and Michael! I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. She was such a dear sweet lady to all of us as we were growing up.   3. I will miss her. She was always friendly & kind. She always stopped to visit with me when she was shopping with her daughters. Her husband worked with my father-in-law at Pinco in Lima.

  5. Sally Tony were neighbors of ours just up the road on 15A in Hemlock NY always a pleasure to See Sally At The hemlock little world’s fair for the demolition derby every Year. My prayers for the family and friends. She will be dearly missed.
