Rest in peace my dear “step-sister in love”. I’ll always remember our friendship and fun times, especially having our babies so close together. Mother Carrie admired you dearly and was so proud of all your endeavors as she assisted and watched you grow. Dear Kurt, you are in my prayers as I know your heart is broken. I am so sorry.
This was a depressing surprise to me. Lila was an active, kind-hearted, pleasant and amiable person who I will always remember. When she told me long ago that she was a Native American, that surprised me even more and her contributions to the Ganondagan organization was very fitting. She was a pleasure to have worked with all those years and will surely be missed! My sincere condolences to Kurt, Kim, and Lila’s extended family. She was truly special and left us way too soon. I am sorry I cannot be there to wish her farewell as I reside in Florida now to watch over my elderly mother who can’t bear the cold weather of up north but my heart will always be there with you all.
She went on a her journey where she will meet Granny and her ancestors, and they will share many laughs and stories together. It’s comforting to know she is always near in the spirit world. We love and miss you dearly, Lila.
