Tessa A. Smith – December 2, 2023

Bloomfield: At age 33, Tessa passed away on December 2, 2023. She was born on May 26, 1990 to Edward and Vicki Smith. Survived by her son; Logan W. Hartman, mother; Vicki (LaViolette) Smith, brothers; Edward D. Smith, Allan (Megan) Smith, grandmothers; Jean Tewksbury, Mary W. Smith, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Tessa was predeceased by her father; Edward J Smith, grandfathers; Laurance LaViolette and Donald Smith.

Tessa was the girl with the beautiful smile and feisty spirit that naturally drew people to her. Tessa loved music, sports, nature, her pets, and her family. In school she had dance recitals, school musicals, cheerleading, softball, and she was an outstanding soccer goalie. Outside of school she loved fishing, camping, riding 4 wheelers, and snowboarding at Bristol Mountain. Above all of these interests, Tessa loved her Dad and her son more than anything.

Tessa left us with some truly amazing memories and gifts. The best gift is her son Logan. She also gave the gift of life to people we don’t even know by donating her organs and also donating her hair to locks of love.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, December 16th, from 10am – 11am at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Rte 20A, Honeoye, NY. where Tessa’s Memorial Service will be held at 11am, following calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to: Happy Tails 2976 County Road 48 Canandaigua, NY 14424.

  4. I remember fighting over the bouquet at Paul and Kim’s wedding . I think she started at the rehearsal dinner saying ” it’s on ” , She got the bouquet .

  5. My heart goes out to you the survivors. You have had way too much grief in your lives. Best I can do is send love and healing thoughts your way.. I would be there with you if it weren’t for 1,500 miles and no spare cash.

  6. I am so sorry to hear of Tessa’s passing. I pray that you all can find hope, peace and love of heart in your memories of Tessa. I personally have memories of so many young adults in this town. Albeit my recall memories are of a much younger Tessa. I fell in love with them all.
    Tessa was one of my brats very sweet and respectful when here. I can still see her sweet face.
