Frances Briskin (Dragone) ~ November 24, 2023

Gates:  At age 86, Frances passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. She is survived by her sister; Annetta Licata Gordon, sister-in-law Marie Dragone, special friend Marie Villareale, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; Alvin Briskin, brothers; Vito (Margaret) Dragone, Charles (Mary) Dragone, Mario (Vivian) Dragone, John (Yolanda) Dragone, Daniel Dragone and sister Mary (Joseph) Dianetti.

Fran enjoyed a full life, especially her 36 years of marriage to the love of her life, Al. She maintained many friendships with her classmates from Ben Franklin High School class of 1956. She enjoyed her golf game as well as her Tuesday league pals and played well into her 80’s. She was very proud of her “hole in one”. Fran always loved to bake cakes and give them to friends or bring them to get togethers. We could all benefit by living by her mantra… Never regret a day in your life: Good days give happiness, bad days give experience, worst days give lessons, and best days give memories. 🙂

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Arrangements were made by the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street, Livonia, NY 14487. To share a memory or a condolence, please visit: www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com
