  1. Our paths crossed over 8 years ago, when Leigh was assigned to be my son, Will’s, nurse on his bus at Wheatland-Chili. Will and Leigh (or Wee-Wee as he called her) connected immediately. She made the bus trips fun – singing, laughing, taking videos, and hugs – lots of hugs.
She quickly endeared herself to our whole family. She was a thoughtful, kind-hearted, wonderful person and we were so lucky to have her in our lives. She called us her “chosen family” and we felt the same way about her.
We pray that she is with her Dad now discussing hockey, her animals, and of course, her obsession with all things police related.
We will always love you, Leigh!
