Honeoye: Matthew R. Gillen, 55 years of Park Lawn Apatrments in Honeoye died Saturday August 2, 2008 at Rochester General Hospital. He was born February 17, 1953 in Rochester the son of George B. and Della Shutts Gillen. The School of the Holy Childhood and the Al Sigl Center, both in Rochester, were both very important parts of his life.

Matt is survived by his brothers, Scott (Elaine) Gillen, Kippley (Nancy) Gillen of Honeoye, Brett (Katherine) Gillen of Fairport, Timothy (Eileen) Gillen of Canandaigua. several nieces and nephews including Scott, Brendan, and Justin Gillen.

Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass Wednesday August 6, 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church Route 20A, Honeoye, with the Rev. John H. Hayes officiating. Burial, Canadice Hill Cemetery.
