Livonia: At age 63, Tim passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2023 at his home in Livonia. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Henry and Phyllis Jonas. Survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Lara W. (Zittel) Jonas; his children, Allison (Matt) Jonas-Bartlett, Christopher (Amanda) Jonas; his grandchildren, Lilah Jonas, Rogan Bartlett, Hudson Jonas, Redfield Jonas; and his siblings, Diane (Gary) Maslanka, Maureen (Ron) Foster, Jeff Jonas and Greg Jonas; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

It breaks our heart to have lost our son-in-law.
Our love and comfort is always there for our daughter, Lara and the grandchildren.
Tim was a character, a good husband, and a loving Father and Grandfather.
He was good for a funny story, a wisecrack and a laugh.
We had many fun experiences with him and hope he is Resting in Peace.
Hopefully, the cigars are better and the food tastier in heaven for him.

I am so shocked and saddened by the news about Tim’s passing. But, please remember all of the hilarious expressions, and impressions that Tim would make. He always cracked me up in laughter!! For instance, Tim called my Dad ‘Maz’.. his voice and and facial expression got me every time., “C’mon Maz!” Tim often said. Silly, but quite funny when Tim said it.
