  7. Peg and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. George was a very kind and caring man. We will miss him riding his red scooter around and seeing him at Leisure’s on Sunday mornings after church. He was a great neighbor. We have lost a bright light.

  8. To all the Hynes, I’m so sorry for your loss of George, he was one of a kind. I have many fond memories of George and all the family. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

  9. My grand daughter always called George, “the Pope,” as he was who she always saw first when we walked into to church! He was a great man; kind and good and true. Hard working, humble, a great sense of humor and all around great guy. Heaven must be planning a huge celebration for his homecoming! A life well lived. A light that brightened our days. And Peg, he loved you so! We were honored to know and love George.

  10. George was such a good man. I worked with him at St Matthews and he always was fun to work with. I will miss him. God bless him and his family.

  11. We have nothing but great memories of George. We thought of him as family. He was truly a great person and will be missed by all.

  12. Margie and I extend our sincerest sympathy to the Hynes family. George was one of the most sincere, caring, kind, gentle, intelligent person I have known in my long life. He was a great problem solver. I know because he helped me through many mechanical problems. George was my neighbor. Anytime I had a problem George would ride over in his little scooter and calmly solve the problem. He was amazing. He never cursed, he never lost his temper and was always positive. Kind of the opposite of me. Maybe that’s why he liked me. Anytime anyone asked George for help he would answer the call. He worked very hard at St Matthew Church on their AC, Sound system and heating system. He was smart, a problem solver. But I think one of his greatest qualities is that he never ever said anything bad about anyone. He was certainly “one of a kind”. I never met another man like him. I know he is in heaven. He went straight up. No Question. I am going to miss him so very very much. Please pray for me George. I need it!

  13. I have nothing but fond memories of George from the CYO days back in the 1950s
He chased us rascals all over the place. Many years have passed since then but thinking of George brings back memories of happy days. My condolences to his family
