Avon: December 26, 2010 at age 98 years. Ruth is predeceased by her husband Austin and son Gerald, siblings, Herbert, Frank, Alida Williamee, Carrie Landers, Annabelle Mathewson, Emma Dickinson, Lloyd, Clyde, Donald, William and Edwin Stern.

She is survived by her son Richard (Christine) Martin of Avon, granddaughter Katie Martin of Avon, grandson Jon (Jennifer) Martin of Caledonia, great grandchildren Aidan & Gabrielle Martin of Caledonia, devoted niece Mary Williamee of Lima, sisters-in-law Elaine & Norma Stern of Gasport, Bea Stern of Bloomfield, many nieces and nephews and loving caregivers at the Avon Nursing Home.

Ruth was born September 26, 1912 in Royalton Center, New York to parents Raymond Stern and Nora (Fry) Stern. She was a longtime resident of Avon, NY and worked for many years in quality control at Kraft General Foods.
